Beth Sherman has an M.A. in English and an MFA (fiction) from Queens College. Her fiction, poetry, articles and creative nonfiction have been published in The New York Times, Newsday, James Joyce Quarterly, The Portland Review, Sou’wester, 3Elements Review, Sin Fronteras/Writers without Borders, Calamus Journal and Zingara, among other publications.

She is also a Pushcart Prize nominee who has written five mystery novels.

Academic Interests

Late eighteenth-century and Victorian novel studies. Ecocriticism. Utopia/dystopia. Detective fiction. The craft of writing fiction, poetry and non-fiction.
