QC partnering with New York Public Radio for student internships

Queens College is partnering with New York Public Radio (NYPR) to create internship opportunities for students.

New York Public Radio is the parent organization for WNYC, Gothamist, WNYC Studios, The Greene Space, and WQXR. They produce Radiolab, Aria Code, On the Media, The Takeaway, and The Brian Lehrer Show, among other excellent programs.

NYPR internships are designed to be a learning experience for sharp, enthusiastic self-starters, with or without radio skills. NYPR interns do meaningful work across a variety of shows and departments, are an integral part of the team, and assist with all aspects of work.

Over the course of the internship term, interns can learn a variety of skills, including reporting, editing, production, field recording, digital audio editing, taping, ProTools, mixing promos, planning live events, research, and more.

Professors Amy Herzog and Jason Tougaw will hold an online information session for interested students on Friday, June 24 at 11:00 AM.

Note: NYPR will provide a dedicated link for Queens College students who are applying. Professors Herzog and Tougaw will provide the link to interested students. Be sure to apply using this, rather than the links for general applicants.
